Then change the tune and try it again before you go with a different converter IMHO

Yeah but think the 90mm bottles down the 102mm so its going to hold you back on te mid to higher RPMs.

Keep us updated

With the crazy deep first gear on the 6l90e etc with 4.11 and 28" tire, it is almost the equivalent to a TH350 trans with a 6.60ish rear gear on the same tire. (if you match mph at 6500 rpm). 2nd gear in the 6l90e is pretty close to a th350/400 trans with 4.11 gear etc.

I actually wonder if the truck will 60 foot faster leaving in 2nd gear with 4.11/28" tire. Thought about seeing if I could program out 1st gear with tow/haul on for a comparison at the track both ways. 3rd and 4th gear have better gearing for the truck to go through the traps so truck would be really well geared for the 1/4 keeping the 4.11's in the back.

Also can install a switch operated resistor inline to the IAT sensor to allow you to leave IAT timing retard for normal street driving, but zero out IAT retard when racing at track on a real hot 90+ deg hot day (just splash in a little 100 octane to wipe out the knock retard etc if needs it)

Going to dyno with stock truck intake back to back with the FAST 102 truck intake wed as well as an 100MM TSP maf had laying around as well. Temps are high 90's all week outside here in CA.

Me too. Makes a difference if your tune takes advantage of it.
