My cousin has been working in GM service for about 11 years now. He is the regional service manager for GM south Florida, and as he told me. you can have wahtever u want on the truck, if the dealer cant prove that it led to the failure then warranty covers it. And by no means can they deny u the service.
The dealer i bought my truck from was giving me hell about my K&NCAI when i took it in for service. It'd be my luck my trans would go out and they would deny service due to the stall. Im rough on transmissions.

So it sounds like possibly the only thing they could tie to a high-stall converter might be trans failure caused by excessive heat? Just wondering out loud ....

Another thing I'd like to add. With the 40k cooler, the highest temp I've seen is 189*. This was after 4 0-120 runs, on the bottle. Normal temps are around 145-150 in 105* weather.

Same here highest ever was 185. All in all heat us the #1 cause if tranny failures, and whn our Trucks run at like 180-203ish stock that's less than stock. But yeah, if ur serious talk to sales manager and have them show u the warranty provisions n it states it there. It might even be in ur warranty manual.
