I have yet to install the DJM stuff because I found they are still using the same garbage balljoints after they told me on the phone they were not.

It never ends does it.
I have ran the DJM arms for over a year and the ball joints seem to be holding up fine. I'll check again the next oil change but if you want just change them out for quality ones before you install them.

I know with the DJM stuff the ball joints are usually crap.. Just what i hear, but it does relax the angle that the balljoints operate at. however with the DJM kit, and the stock spindles is that going to relax the tie rod angle any?

And by the way if you are interested in selling the Belltech stuff let me know, im trying to piece together a 4/level drop kit for my reg cab standard bed..

Thanks

This is why I did'nt do DJM. I have heard bad things about them.

I have Ground Force Spindles and belltech struts for my front setup and I could't be happier. Rides great and I have not had any problems with them or getting it to align without a camber kit.

I should be swaping out the front items this weekend. I have all new balljoints installed in teh DJM arms. I am sure it will be fine.

I would have just ran the beltech stuff but my factory balljoints were worn out already. And since I lowered it, they will not be covered. (I tried) Factory CA's are waaaay to much money right now.

What ball joints did you go with and how much did it cost to get them put in the DJM arms?

I picked up a set from NAPA. The lowers were $60 each. I was able to swap them myself but the NAPA machine shop charged $30.

I got it all installed with the napa Lowers. It rides great. I cant remember the part numbers but you can search them on the NAPA site. Look for a lower balljoint for a 05 Tahoe. They have a lifetime warranty.

Make sure you keep the old spring clips from the balljoints. You will need to use both new and old ones after the NAPA parts are installed. One clip is used as a spacer under the other.
