Default stock plug wires with lt's

Anyone have trouble with the factory wires touching a few of the tubes? I put a few of those plug wire protectors on them and I believe the wires will last for a while. What wires do they make that the boots are shorter? Possibly all aftermarket sets are shorter??

Thanks, Jeremy

i dunno, all i did was cut the lip off thats touching. ive had mine for a few months now and havent had any problems. id say stay with stock wires. the "hp" gains are very small compared to the price. its up to you but id just keep stock wires an upgrade to a better plug.

I run the stock wires with no problems, yeah the boots touch a bit but seem to be holding up just fine (it's been a year or so)

I took the metal covers off the boot and zip tied modded(lol) the wire away from the tubes. With the metal off it gave the boot more room to bend away.

i like the metal boot i got a tool to grab em instead of risking pulling the wires apart. i had trouble with my oil dipstick fitting between the headers and the block so i made a spacer and said the hell with it
