well these heads have 59cc. my goal is to make 25-30 rwhp plus some decent tq? my 08 5.3 has 220 cam with full bolt ons. does this sound reasonable gain with these heads?

What has 59cc? the TSP's? That would increase yor CR adding some low end torque

For some reason the NBS are very sensitive to knock retard and it is hard to get full potential i don't know if it is false knock or what. I would stick to 243s and with mild mill maybe .010 to .020. This will be easier to tune and I think the 243 are better heads.
