As for all the splices I soldered and wrapped them. All the connections are hidden back under the plastic cover. All but one were easy to figure out. The fuel pump connect on the new harness had two GR/WH wires while the old one had one GR/WH and one YE/BL. I found were the yellow one went and then figured our which on the two green wire went to the same pin location in the ecm connector.

Good to know, im sure i will have more questions when i get around to getting my trans built and in.... Kinda more worried about engine swap first.... Although considerig i am adding vvt and having to change harness anyway, probably be better off swapping both in at same time....

I purchased a Drew Technologies Mongoose Pro II GM cable. Then I downloaded the Tis2web on my tablet.

Since you are going with a vvt motor you could just order a harness from a denali 2wd from your year and it should just plug right in.

I have an 08 yukon thats 4wd with autotrac, and ive got a harbess from an 11 sierra thats got a couple harness bundles cut(fuse box and i wanna say the bundle for the passenger side o2 sensors going by the a/c stuff...) and another harness from a 2007 denali... Just not sure if its 2 or awd....wanna say by vin on tag it came with its awd,need find it again...

Wow.... Just looked up the mongoose cable.... I can get an mdi for a fraction of the cost of mongoose cable....or i can use one from work. Where did you get yours from?

Tuner tools. I went with the Mongoose because it is certified to use with gm software, and the tech support if I needed it.

I also needed to buy a slip yoke. I can't find the part number right now, but I just ordered it from the Chevy dealer.

Have you tried reflashing your bcm yet for the tu/td?? I was digging around my yukon today and everything is already wired up for it....
