Fire in the hole! Fired up instantly with no issues or leaks. Dyno tune this week and track times soon to follow.

So far the truck made 486rwhp/498rwhp with no meth injection on 91 octane. Had it up to 504rwhp but once the truck starts getting hot it would ping so the tune was backed off a bit. Turned the meth on and it dropped power by about 40hp so there's some playing around to do.

Nice numbers! Still makes me a bit disappointed that my Lysholm plans fell through in 2011; this 6.2 would be mean as hell with that unit on top.

I vauguely remember that,werent you R&Ding for them the square port kit and you had tunning issues and HP was close to 400????

what was the deleo?If it wasnt you then it must have been a different black 6.2 truck i was thinking of

Not quite. That was supposed to be me, but the last e-mail back to Lysholm/Vortech R&D (after we had established that I was in, just needed to confirm dates to drop off the truck) failed to send from my old phone and went to my outbox without my knowledge. Instead of e-mailing me again, they moved on to the next guy on the list when they didn't get a response from me, and it took almost a week until I found out the e-mail didn't send. When I found it and immediately sent them another one, they said it was too late

The guy they ended up working with did come on here; they basically installed a full Camaro kit on the truck with the Vortech centrifugal airbox, and after they tuned it, he was somewhere around 400rwhp. That would've been an animal in my truck once I took it to Justin to get sorted out though. They also took a full month longer than they had said they would, so it would have been seriously inconvenient for me as far as timeframe without my vehicle goes.

Forgot to mention that the pulls were made in 4th gear an a mustang dyno.
