Have a 09 CC LTZ ordered with the 6.2L and got to thinking if I'm sending that much should I spend a tad more and get the denali?
Pros for the silvy:

It is the exact color I want-Black granite met.
I got it with the power Sliding rear window(no local denalis on lot have this)
I ordered it and would feel a little trashy not following through.
My buddy is a service manager at the Chevy dealer and can warranty alot more then normal.
$2k cheaper

Pros for the Denali:
Seems to have a higher resale value
Considered alot nicer truck
Have the chrome handles and other little niche items that make it nicer.
AWD

Would like your guys thoughts on this.Also is the AWD faster or slower then the 4X4?I will be doing some bolt ons.

I think you'd be happier with the Chevy since it was ordered with exactly what you wanted. The Denali doesn't have some of the features you wanted

 

^^ I could always get the rear window installed and the diff. betweern the colors wouln't be that much if I chose the black Denali.

if its only 2k more id get the denali. awd will be better if you start modding plus the resale thing and it looks better imo

 

If you intend to do wheeling or a lift AWD is a bit weak on that front.

I live where snow is only on the TV, and offroading is pulling into a parking lot.

 

for 2k more you will hate yourself if you dont get the denali. the resale will be a tonnn better, not just for the "Denali" badge, but for the Awd system as well. you can take gmc's to chevy houses and vice versa, you shouldnt loose you warranty help

 

get the denali,mines a 09'2wd picked it up for 47k,waaaaaaaaay better than a reg chevy,u got navi,comfort,sunroof,chrome accents which are coming off mine lol.and tons of other goodies.

 

denali all day long. the denali when people see it know its a denali and has the best of the best. the silverado a quick clance you wont know if it has a 6 cylinder cloth interior crank windows or it could be like yours loaded right up. denali u and everyone else knows its the best of the best.

 

I'm wondering if the 6.2 is the same motor? The Denali (still) has the L92 with VVT
(I think they now call it the L94?), but I recall somehere seeing something that the Silverado has the L99. which has VVT and DOD, as per the new Camaro 1SS A6.
I'm not a big fan of the displacement on demand. In fact, if it were not for that crap, I would buy a new SS A6 Camaro. If the Silverado in fact has the L99, that would be another factor against it for me. In any case, I like the Denali much better, for all the obvious reasons....
