yes without a doubt. after i did my LS9 cam, my low end suffered ALOT. you could floor my truck from a stop and it wouldn't even come close to spinning a tire. After my stall, it will roast them if you floor it from a stop. big difference.

My shift extensions were also improved. Not a WHOLE lot, but they were improved enough to be noticable.

Katzkin leather is worth every penny. I would say it's worth more than what I paid, which was 550 on ebay. One of my favorite changes so far and definitely best bang for the buck in the cosmetic department, if you're coming from cloth.

In my talks with Chris at circle D, he recommended the 258 for mine, said the 245 might be too agressive for daily driving (can someone explain this). He also told me if I tow heavy loads I should probably go with a 258mm and a triple disk along with a trans cooler. I've also been looking at the 10.5 inch vig and some FTIs. Seems to be a preference thing as all get good reviews and are about the same in price. I

258mm is the 10.5" converter....allows for heavier truck use imho.
245mm is his 9.5" converter which wont last very long behind a truck thats used as a truck...

plenty of big hp trucks run the 10.5"
