shake at 110mph

wow im surprised mines never came off, i go 120-130 couple times a month with my stock u-joints and 286,000 miles on!! time to get a new driveshaft

I get that shake starting at about 85mph but I also have 4.10's. I let off the throttle at that point and emailed DSS about a shaft and have started budgeting to get one haha.
Its cheaper then you'd think!

Same thing over here going to buy a built driveshaft or at least rebalance mine...which i think it should work..

how well does the re balancing really work though? is it just a temporary band aid?

I rebalanced my stocker, 2 weeks later it let go at around 110. Made 4-5 passes down that highway, never found that ds. Sounded like a tank cannon went off.

Get a built one and make sure your pinion angle is good with that drop.

mine screwed up this afternoon at about 45 & i thought i'd just trashed something. still trying to figure out what caused it, but the caps that bolt to the pinion yoke were gone even though the clamps were still bolted down tight...

it actually stayed on the truck til i stopped but then the back end fell down
