Some of you already know from me texting you, but the 5.3 is no more. I "think" I put a hole in #5 piston last sunday. I havent had time to tear it down yet, because thursday night and friday I was putting a cam and springs in my buddy's TBSS, and honestly I was exhausted after and really didnt feel like messing with mine. I plan on pulling the driver head off this saturday to confirm my thoughts of what happened. But, I have already pulled the plug, put compressed air into the cylinder, and it pours out of the crankcase which pretty much confirms it anyways. Im almost positive it was a lean issue, because as Geoff says it, I was already "on the ragged edge" when it came to leaning it out up top. Its my own fault for not doing the fuel system sooner.....

I'll prob just rip out the stock crap, and go return style with a big inline pump and regulator. I DO NOT want this happening again, so I will be sure it supports alot more then what I want out of it this time.
