Exclamation Really need a lot of help!

I had to replace the transmission in my wife's 07 Tahoe and the NSS. Now I don't get NO power to the trans, interior light, door locks and the brakes light as well. The message that come up on the dash says stability track disengaged and service 4WD. WTF do I do to get this fixed! I am literately stuck on this been trying to figure this out for 2 days now.

Probably needs to be programmed. In these new trucks you cant just start swapping parts without software being updated...

Yes all the lights worked before. We drove the Tahoe in to the garage. The reason I had to replace the trans was the gears went out and only reversed worked.

Something got screwed up nothing needs to be reset or programmed nothing battery related will cause that and allow the motor to start. Check to see if you pinched the harness between the bell housing and the block somewhere or broke a ground.

You need a capable snap on etc scanner to get anywhere with the type of problems you are having or you will get nowhere. If you can't see something visible related to trans replacement and you do not have access to a scanner it's time to take it to a competent shop.

You fried the BCM. Very common on the GMT900 Platform.

I would say you connected the negative cable first and then the Positive cable. This provided an arc which sent a voltage spike through the BCM and whipped it out.

Why do people disconnect the battery to put a transmission in anyway??? I know first ste is supposed to be disconnect negative cable, but grrrrr!!!! Maybe ive just been on the professional end of this too long, and learn the ins and outs of what to do and what not to do.... too many issues arise from disconnecting and reconnecting batteries!!! Ok rant over now!!! Sorry

My friend that was doing it for me disconnected the battery. because he was putting in a new NSS. I gave him 200$ for swapping the transmission. I'll sure will let him know that what he did wrong lol.
