Default Radiator Flush

Hey guys. before everything, I do know about the block drain plug, is there any easier way to flush the system? Hoses most probably? No radiator petcock somewhere, chicken burger, anything!

I just take the upper and lower hoses at the radiator loose and shove the garden hose in there for a good while for both the block and the radiator and then put one gal of straight antifreeze and then finish everything off with 50/50. I buy the cheap green from vatozone and have never had an issue not running the GM pink/orange coolant, all has been good for years...

I have no idea why my radiator coolant looks contaminated, its due for a change anyways. Why on earth would they have antifreeze in such a hot climate.
