Question for those who have traded in a modded truck

I think it would be best to try and sell modified ride as is, might get more than you think especially if it's supercharged.

In the streets yes, trade in no way. you lose value and get thousands less.

Either find the right buyer and sell the truck how it's modded or return to stock and sell privately or trade in.

I am in the process of turning my truck all the way back to stock. The few parts I have that I can use on the next build I will keep, everything else I will end up selling one by one. I will get WAY more money back for the performance parts selling them individually than trying to sell the modded truck as a whole.

i have traded in 9 cars since 2002 all with mods. some dealers will try to rape you and some will work with you. dont just talk too one dealer.

try listing it privately, its not like your in a huge rush now that the deal fell threw so see what you could get.

around here trying to trade in a modded truck makes it basically worthless, there's not many trucks with more then a flowmaster muffler and stickers so there's just no market for it. now if you had a dodge diesel all chromed out thatd fly off the lot here haha

go to cars.com and put out a hundred offers on what you want and see what you can come up with.
