Default Possible new truck

I was cruising the car lot today and found a 2011 ext cab 2wd 6.2. I think I am going to try and get it it is same color as my 5.3 so my hood and all my color match stuff will swap over. Should i go for it, is there an actual gain in performance. any input is greatly needed

huge difference between 5.3 with a few goodies and a 6.2. just go drive it. if your running 16.2 right now you should see an instant increase by over a second.

Yeah you will surely be in the high 14s bone stock with that truck. My CCSB 4X4 went 15.05.

I just traded in a '99 5.3 for a 2011 6.2, and the difference is AMAZING. I've built a few smallblocks up over the years, mostly 400s, and none of them would touch this 6.2 - bone stock.

Go for it!!!

I drove it yesterday and WOW is all I can say. It feels so much stronger than mine it is'nt funny. I'm going to get it as long as they dont try and screw me to bad on my trade. I think every thing will swap over to it as well, and a added bonus is it looks just like mine white extended cab 2wd w/black leather so ill be able to shock a few people that will think it is just the slow 5.3

You won't regret it. I got a fair amount on my trade 2 weeks ago, only ate $1000. I put zero down too. I will gladly pay it again for smooth, available power.

Well I bit the bullet it will be here friday and hopefully have everything switched over by sat. so I have some fun in it. It is just like mine in every way except it has the 6.2L , 373's and no remote start how hard is it to add that.
