Default pitted chrome wheels...can they be powder coated?

These wheels have some pitting at the base of the spokes, I was thinking of powder coating them, but not sure of the process. How do they powdercoat chrome?...do they sandblast first?

think these wheels could be saved or would the pitting be too bad and bleed thru/return after powder coating?

I believe that you can have the wheels bead blasted, and then powder coat. Is that picture the worst spot on the wheels?

There are places (at least around here) that specialize in wheel restoration and powdercoat. I would imagine a good powdercoater should have a blaster as well.
