I have a long way to go when it comes to engine building and actually being credible, but I do understand a little. I think the L92 has 10.5 compression stock; shaving the heads that much would bump you to around 11.3 or 11.4. Which is full time 93 octane on a good tune.
"cleaned up" can mean a lot of things, to some CNC'd could mean "cleaned up". Until it is fully explained it's just misleading.
It's taken me a long time to read between the lines and understand the facts of what people don't post. Your build is a great example of what the L92 is capable of, you've done a great job. Posting results with very little facts is way more confusing, and does no good for anyone.

claned up means that nothin special was done, not even the whole runners were touched, just a portion of the top's i plan on portin them one day, but im in no rush.

well i thought i was gonna hold out on the cam but went to the track on friday and not happy ran 3 times lowest i got out of it was 14.2@101with the 220/220 cam and tune guess i needa upgrade cam and put the stall back in

I'm about to change the cam in my truck as well, and I'm thinking about the Mast Escalde Cam (220/234 .570/.588" w/ 116 LSA.) This is a VVT grind. The VVT grinds are limited because phasing the cam increases the chances of a valve hitting the piston, even with a phaser limiter. These motors (and the Camaro VVT L99's) come with valve reliefs, while the LS3 w/ a bigger cam don't, so that tells me something.
Daryn c: you deleted the VVT, correct? Don't seem like you need it from what I see on your dyno sheet. Looks like you still have a lot of torque down low, especially with that big a cam, but a little bit of that could come from the increased compression.
This cam choice thing is giving me a headache: Overlap vs. no overlap? Lopey idle vs. smooth? - VVT or no VVT? Comp, Mast or Futral? Too many damn choices, almost!!

watch out when getting the Mast cam your thinking about... I have it installed on my Denali and its not wat it's meant out to be.. I guess it's to do with the lobe design, the idle is rough and its not smooth at all... I've even removed the VVT coz I thought that was the problem, but still feels like a 112. It could be due to the higher duration though
but take my advice and go with a cam from Comp. They have the years of research in designing lobes and I've heard great things about their new lobe design. Will be getting one in soon as well
