I have a 09 extended silvy ...should I colormatch with some cans and extra time or save all the bs and have someone do it?

 

cans as in spray cans? if you are that good hey go for it. but id honestly let someone sand it, prime it, sand it, base coat it, sand it, clear it 3 or 4 layers, wet sand it. i dont care for a crappy paint job.

put up some pics, i bet that thing would look clean with color match parts

 

get it done right!! dont penny pinch on stuff like that. IMO

Only thing that sucks about colormatched front ends, is the rock chips... got mine colormatched about 3 months ago, and i got some small chips on the bumper already. I think im gonna have to get it done again by next year. but i love the way it looks!!! and no one can really tell theyre there, unless they get about a foot in front of the bumper (poor cat) lol

spray cans....im just gonna find a shop thatll do it GOOD ..how did you guys do it did you remove chrome or scuff and paint over?
