Any of you 6.2 guys tried them? Clearance issues etc? I had the 1 3/4 versions 72c2267 on my 2011 Sierra 5.3 and fitment and quality was great and no issues.

 

I run the 1 7/8" for a gmt800 on my 2008. Everything fit just like it should. I did move the o2 bungs to be an easier remove/install. My driver side spark plug wires are tight on the pipes, but a spark plug heat boot, and some metal zip ties do wonders

 

Thanks Keniff.... i think the 1 7/8 will perform fine for a baby cammed 6.2 vs 1381.00 for Kooks... I love Kooks but this ole boy cant be dropping that coin on headers

 

Yeah i know exactly what you mean. If you have the cheap "tap" o2 bungs in the set you order IMHO change them out to a weld in style. Screw that cheap punched in crap.

I dont make a ton of HP, an it doesn't have to beat everyone. So a 400.00 set does me just fine considering it sits in the driveway more than anything
