I've got a 2008 VortecMax, I'm going to go with Pacesetter quicktrip headers, Corsa Sport exhaust.

My last truck was a true dual truck with LT's so I never did mess with Y-pipes. Whats a good Y pipe for my setup? Can I reuse the cats that are already on the truck?

Pacesetter sells catted y-pipes also if you haven't bought the corsa muffler yet, don't buy the sport!! If you are planning to run LT's get there touring muffler, the sport is too loud and raspy.

You will find a lot of threads on ppl switching there sport to touring or a 22" magnaflow, or adding a resonator or second bullet muffler to keep it sane after LT installs

Don't use graphite gaskets either.

 

I've actually reconsidered the Corsa altogether, based on the high price. I've opted to go with true duals with spintech mufflers dumped.

I can't remember if I had to buy collectors or if the exhaust shop just fabbed everything up to the headers on my old Silverado SS.

Do I need to buy any other parts other than the headers and muffler?

 

While your there I would get new sparkplugs. Also, I would either re-use the stock gaskets, or buy some new oem ones. I believe TSP (sponsor to the right) carries them. If you change your mind and decide to use a y-pipe, get some band clamps and throw away the ubolt clamps.
