Has anyone done anything to increase oil pressure or flow on an L92? I notice that my oil press. gauge only shows about 30psi at idle with the engine warm. I use Valvoline Synthetic 10w-30. (Used to Mobil one, but lifters are much quieter with the Valvoline). I honestly haven't paid close attention to max pressure at high RPMs, but when I rev to say 4 grand, it only goes up to slighly over 40psi. Is it worth my while shimming the spring.
I've done this before for a friends LS1, but not sure about the L92 pump. I thought I read somewhere that it is a higher volume, but I'm not sure about that.
I'm doing a can change this weekend so now would be the time to do it, if it makes sense..
