Default NNBS Intake: Port of sell?

so I have a spare bare NNBS intake manifold laying around.

Ive always thought I would sell it when the time comes to get a little extra funds when im ready to throw the procharger on.

but

now I am contemplating on sending it off and getting it ported.

The only reason Ive not done that is because I dont know if I should just leave well enough alone with the blower/cam/tranny combo. And for the fact that Ive seen that it can cost a pretty penny.

Has anyone done this and seen some gains with the ported manifold?

If i do send it off to get ported, im sure im going to get the TB P&P'd as well.

So if it is the 87mm opening it is worth the swap. 15+hp, tq across the board..

John is thinking about going from the stock truck intake to the NNBS intake. LS2 port works does a lot of intake porting, check with them. At one time there were some dyno charts posted but I dont know of any with results from porting on the truck intakes.

Isn't the NNBS truck intakes that are not the classics(99-07c) the ones with the 87mm opening?? Same as the TBSS intake?? Now you got me confused. I am thinking that being ported would show even more gains, but somebody posted a vid in one of my threads about them(TBSS) intake, it showed all kind of flexing, but not sure who and how it was ported..

I'm almost willing to bet money the NNBS have a 90mm opening, part of the reason I added a 90mm TB.

I think some people have removed the stanchions inside the intake thinking it would benefit flow patterns but all it did was weaken it.

Only thought the car ls2 had the 90, while the truck and tbss still kept the 87..

I'll have my TB off within the next week so I'll measure with a set of calipers.
