Does the 1500 emblem fit on the HD grille?

I picked up my bumper yesterday (a little worse shape than I thought but not bad) and ordered my grille now I just gotta find someone who can weld

I have the HD ones from the truck that bumper came from do you know if those will work?

No, the emblems are different.
I have ordered all of my parts from Scoggin Dickey and they have done me really well on prices with quick shipping.

On the kicker braces, I used the ones from the 2500. I did not do any welding but I did use some scrap metal to make some relocating brackets. Once you get the bumper mounted, you will see which way it needs to move.

Whats involved in installing just the HD bumper on a nnbs Sierra1500. I just want the bumper. Keeping everything else 1500.

Welding? I've seen you ask this question on two threads that basically explain the answer lol

and no you need the grille.

I've seen pictures of just the bumper. The trim piece below the grill for the 1500 bumpers would most likely fit the top of the 2500 bumper so I doubt I would need the grill. So to answer my own question I guess would be cutting and welding.
