you need to change all the front head light harness to get the fogs working , or you can wire it yourself and pin the harness to the fuse block end of the harness

sorry sand man they might be in the same wire cover but they have nothing to do which each other. you dont have to change the whole harness to get the fogs to work.
the harness has only two plugs for the fog lights themselves, a ground, and the connector that goes into the fuse block. THATS IT.

if you want to make your own you can but youd have to get the connectors for the fuse block and the plugs for the fog lights themselves. or fab it up somehow. if you get HIDs in the fogs you can just connect them to that instead of buying oem fog light plugs.

the switch the OP already has simply replaces the switch without the fog light button.
like i said wire up the fog lights together to the fuse block and run ground together from fog lights. thats all my harness was when i added the oem fog light kit.
fuse block picture location.

Default Fogs

Check the GMC kit, I think it is cheaper because it does not include the end bumper caps

Is this the correct p/n for the harness?

What I have:
new interior fog switch
bumper caps
fog lights w/about 8" pigtails

I need the harness (purple wire) that goes into the connector in the fuse block, ground wires and leads to the fog pigtails.

I don't have the special crimping tool to crimp the terminals so I'm pretty limited to just buying the harness.

Most say the trucks are pre wired but I have not found the pigtails by the fogs. I know for a fact I am missing the purple wire.

THanks in advance.
