Check out the comments from the C&D link (page 5, #43), someone posted pics of other current trucks steering wheels/drivers seats. They are all offset, its just a little more noticeable in the new gm trucks. I had no idea they were like that and Ive driven a latest gen dodge and new ecoboost. I would have never known they were offset until I saw those pics.

Where did you get the info on the front diff? Here's a quote from a review

"The aluminum front differential on 4WD models is now fully sealed and "lubed for life." That might leave a few hardcore four-wheelers with an affinity for deep mud holes scratching their heads, but most owners will appreciate the worry-free design."

Also "One significant change is the switch to electric-assist power steering to improve fuel economy. "

I looked up the part numbers in the GM catalog.

Wonder why they call it sealed if it has the plugs as usual. I'm gonna check one out in the morning while they replace my shredded seatbelt...lol, something in the retractor is eating it.

They switched to a synthetic fluid and no longer give it a sevice interval so they can call it sealed, since we won't open it untill something goes wrong.
