Default New Pacesetters Powdercoated

I got my LTs in yesterday, and since I opted for the cheesy *** painted ones, I decided that I needed to powdercoat them. I went with a high temp mini-texture black. It's good for a lil over 1000 degrees, so I figured that it would be sufficient. They look pretty good, I'm pleased with them, and there will be no issues with rust. I'll be installing them some time this weekend, Saturday I'm sure. If anyone is interested, I'll post some photos during and after the install. I know that I wanted to see some, so I'll put em up.

The difference isn't huge, but they look a little better IMO. That nasty shine is gone, and this stuff won't burn or peel up on initial startup. We'll see how they hold up over time. I love having my own Powdercoating shop!! Install coming soon...

Damn right get some pics lol.

Those look fantastic since you powdercoated them. How much would that usually cost to get done like that?

I'll get on it. This is my long week, so I'll be putting them on after work.

Well, I do them at my shop...PowderWerkz. I charge 125 to coat them. Any color you want. We'll be doing ceramic coating soon though. I'll keep everyone posted.

So you would charge 125 to get both headers done? Because I would rather buy the painted ones and then get them heat powdercoated like you did. They look awesome. In for pics now.

Yep. I didn't think about it, but the price is competitive with the Ceramic LT's from Pacesetter. The difference is that their ceramic headers still get a little surface/flash rust on them. I don't anticipate any rust through the powder coat. But it's up to the consumers. I just like the finish, and the rust protection is a plus. The texture looks very sharp, and I can't wait to get them suckers installed.

Sounds good. It should only take a few hours to do them. As long as you buy the painted LT's, they blast really easy. LOL, I think they use Sam's Choice paint on those things. It practically falls off. The baking is the only thing that takes a lil while. Let me know when you get some. I can let you check mine out if you like. They'll be on this weekend.
