Name is Brandon... residing in Central Arkansas.

I've done the duramax thing, i've done the lifted thing, now on to something new...

This time I went with a 2010 Chevy K1500 crew with the 6.2.... buckets, backup cam, bose, blablablabla. I despise being stock so I had a Zone leveling kit, 305 KM2's, and windows tinted before the first tank was empty.

I'm itching to slap that 6.2 in the face with some performance mods to wake it up, but I plan to wait until I get a couple thousand miles on her.

Let me know what you guys think.

Brandon, very nice truck. Excellent choice on going with the 6.2L, wish I had waited 2 years and had that option!

dlt, we are on the same page... I'll probably do OBX headers, intake, and tune once it gets broke in. The tune is the only thing that troubles me... I don't know any reputable tuners here in ARKANSAS!!! I have a buddy that is super sharp on the mechanic side of things (builds top notch stock car motors). He is getting HP Tuners soon but I don't know how well he knows that side of things. He wouldn't charge me hardly anything but I wouldn't hesitate to just to get a Wheatley, Nelson, or BlaskBear if they were local.

Welcome over! Sounds like you are on the right track! Slick truck, good choice on the 6.2.

Welcome aboard, you can still get a scan cable tune from most of the tuners.
