Yeah, but the Sierra Denali produces way more power than a V-Max and it has a 6 speed transmission and a tuned Denali will produce way more power than a tuned V-Max. I have the same truck and I can't believe just a tune and a cold air intake and these trucks will run high 13's. I'll believe when I see proof. Maybe if you had all bolt ons, but just an intake and a tune seems hard to believe. Just post a video of your truck running what u claim to run and people will believe u, I could also say a tune, headers, and a cold air intake put my truck in high 12's.

Way more power? It barely has 10% more HP and 10% more TQ. The 6spd definitely helps. The OPs truck has a 300lb lighter curb weight than a Denali. And if I remember correctly, the member that ran 13.7 in the Denali did it on 22s; OP is on 17s. So as I said before, I think its completely realistic.

Edit: The tune alone made a huge difference on my truck. I haven't messed with a whole lot and its a completely different animal.

I'm running 17 inch rims also, and my truck is not that fast. My truck is also an extended cab LTZ V-Max. Maybe I should tune it, but it sounds way to fast.I know SS Silverado run these times, but they have a lot of bolt ons. Well, the NBS V-Max are really detuned, I know because I own one. Just show a video or time slip and I'll believe you. If they run this with just those mods, the new V-Max trucks are really quick. They feel really slow stock though.

I have a corsa exhaust sitting in the garage waiting to go on, when I do we'll strap it back on the dyno and see if it makes any difference, get some updated numbers, etc.

For ***** and giggles I'll weigh the thing and we can all speculate on times till the track opens here when I can get some actual times.

Sounds like a plan no?
