Thats way down south. Way to far of a drive. But yea, that will be cool mike if you can get me some pictures because I've never heard of a "pipe style".

And after some searching, I can actually get the correct helper bag bracket that fit a notch and the notch itself for about 340, so thats not as bad as I thought.

Pipe notch from my 08

worked like a dream. Even with 2 sportbikes in the back of my truck AND pulling a trailer with 4 more.

if a shop notched it for you. im talking drop it off, and pick it up..... id say round 300-400 bucks ( shops have to make money) lol

do it yourself... $50.. thats if you already have a grinder and welding machine....

take that back... it would be 75.... i didnt add in a case of beer

**** mine was $100 me dropping it off at a shop to have it done... a pipe notch is EASY and with and experienced welder it can be knocked out in an hour easy

there's little to no cost in materials. just about 4" of the pipe, cut it in half, cut your frame, weld it up and your done

hmm. That pipe notch does seem alot easier. I'll check into that.

I won't be doing this myself. I was just trying to gather info for my buddy that will be helping/doing it for me. Give him an idea of how much frame to cut, and all that bs.

Thanks guys.
