Default Need some input on gear selection

I tried a few searches but I didn't have much luck. I got the 4.8 and my take off is ridiculous to say the least. Truck is a dd so I would like to stay somewhat reasonable with gas mileage. I've seen a few ppl with 4.56 and love them but I'm not sure how they would be for a dd. I just don't want to spend the cash and not be happy. Ill have 22s on here also so ill have to keep that in mind and I dunno if 4.10s would be enough. Any input on these or possibly a 4.3x gear?

What is the total height of the wheel/tire you will be running?

We need to know this and if you plan on staying with tires that are that height. If you do think you would ever want to change tire size, let us know if it would be to a taller or shorter tire.

Your 245/65/17 tires are about 29.5" high, and the 305/45/22s are 32.8" - big difference!

Ok then lets go with gears best fit for the 32.8" tire.
