the drop kit is pretty easy to install, just takes time and the right tools.... it shouldnt take more than a day to do it all. but if you have the money, i dont think that price is too bad for them to do it for you. i think that jb1 installed hids on his truck, he may be able to help on that...

where are you putting the hids?Or are they just going in as headlights,if so i think you just plug the ballast in to your factory harness and the bulbs to the ballast.

JB will chime in and correct me if I'm wrong

I wouldn't try to install the drop kit (rear flip) without 2-3 friends around to help hold and lift things. The springs and such are heavy and the rear-end housing wants to droop if not held in place. Also, trucks take some pretty large size tools to work on the suspension bolts (larger than 1") not to mention you will have to remove 6 rivets that hold the hangers to the frame. For a complete install for a 3x5 DJM kit, I think $500 is a good price.

Later ... Larry S.

i'm not sre what HID kit yo bought, but mine on my 07 NNBS were simple plug and play. just plug from existing harness into ballast, then put the bulbs in. I didnt have to tap into any wiring. The hardest thing I had to do was figure out where to mount the ballast.

im sure you and some buddys can get the drop kit done if you have tools available. if anyone you know has experience with a grinder/cuting wheel then your all set for the notch if not then i'd pay to have the notch done right and then do the rest on your own
