remove the grille first, then you will see about 4 15mm top bolts and theres a few underneath around fog light brace (remove those). Then take the entire bumper off and sit it upside down like a U on something. Then theres about 40 10mm bolts you need to remove.

Is it possible to paint these chrome bumpers or would I have to get a different one from the dealership??

Sweetness!! I've been wanting to get that done for a while but I keep getting told that that chrome is almost impossible to get off!

I got a work truck bumper and had that painted, then sold my chrome one on ebay...cost was nearly a wash. That way I wasnt without my truck while the bumper was being painted.

Another option if yours is black is to have it powder coated for a durable long lasting coating.

Yeah that's pretty ideal right there, I was having the roll pan painted and the street scene mirrors painted they went ahead and put on the door handles from ebay of course, so I just had them paint the bumper.

If you have a local chrome shop I would take it there.

I friend I had who did body work told me even sanded down chrome is harder to paint on then fresh metal.
