Help, I have a 2008 reg. cab silverado with driver side power seat, I bought a set of 2009 full power seats out of a four door. the new seats wiring harness has a larger conection(about twice as big as my 2008), went to the local dealership, the guy couldn't find anything without the vinn numbers off the new seats, the came off ebay, don't have a clue what vin number. then he says if he could it would be 3 to 5 hundred dollars and no refund if they didn't work. any help would be great, wcb

 

you have power seats in a regcab?

find a VIN of a similar truck that the seats came out of on ebay

 

yes I have driver side power only, went back to dealership with vin numbers, no help, I guess I will just try to hot wire color for color off the drivers side, will this work?

 

hey guys, after many trips to dealership and a helpful lady, we matched up my vinn no.s and have a new wiring harness ordered, this will hopefully allow me to just plug everything up and have full power leather seats in my reg. cab, will keep evereybody posted, I'm sure more of you will do the same upgrade.
