my 2010 will light the tires just fine with the 4.8 w/exhaust. stall it up, lift off the brake pedal slightly, and ta-da! tires go up in smoke.
before it had 25k miles on it, it wouldn't light them up no matter what unless there was snow on the ground, then it would spin all 4...
like he said, maybe the rear brakes are super tight.

Yeah when I take it for the new dyno tune. Im gonna see if they cant print me off the parameters of their tune so I can do some serious comparing beyween the two. I dont really care bout smokin the tires but I just wished it had alot more liw end grunt. I do believe it has alot more in it due to the file that's in it now. Im in quite a pinch though. I just got back from Afghanistan Thursday night and broke my hand Sat and just recieved 5 freakin screws and a plate in it. Just in time too bc the ups truck showed up about an hour ago with my stall, gears and wideband...... Dammit I have the absolute worst luck.

The whole time I was deployed I was praying that the TC button somehow installed in an unconspicuous location. Much to my surprise. It doesn't have that feature, atleast not the button. Im checkin the fuse panel in the a.m. I knew I remembered a button next to the pedal adjust but its for the park assist sensors. I'm sure the near gears and the stall will make em' roll though.

They probably left ALOT of TM in the tune. That truck should blow the tires off with those mods!
My Tahoe will do a nice burnout and its just LT/Stall and I have a 150lb sub box over the rear axle
