yea sometimes they read low sometimes high. Always hand calculate when it comes to mileage

DIC on my duramax told me i was getting 26mpg once lol

I did do some hand calculations and the DIC is pretty close i was getting .2 mpgs less both before and after based on my calcs. So even if its not accurate it is consisent

Wow man that's really good. How much if it is your grandma driving though. I know if I baby mine I go up like 4 mpg. But reg driving it stays the same.

This is half grandma driving. The truck picks up from a red light pretty good, so no need to step on it. And highway I'm going 65mph. I bet at 55mph I would be doing even better but all in alll this is pretty realistic driving.

Hell yeah - if speed makes such a big difference on a new Stingray (read ARTICLE) it'll make a lot more difference in a Silverado that has the aerodynamics of a barn.

Perhaps report back after several tanks' of consumption and 100s of miles to reduce the possibility of random variances and statistical anomalies?

Upside from the performance boost with my MIT is it didn't increase its thirstiness lol.

I'll do a quick update since its been a few weeks. Still getting between 18.5 - 18.7 which is a about 3/4 - 1 mpg less than my initial response, but I have been driving the truck a bit harder at times. No doubt I could granny it back up to the mid 19mpg range if I try.
