Oh yeah, did I forget to mention that it was a Corvette with the whole freakin' body cut off? A very weird test for sure!

I read the article when they chopped it all off the car. I since cancelled my hotrod subscription cuz they print the same stuff car craft does, and I like CC better. Is there a good GM truck mag?

I read they did that test cuz someone on Internet posted they held a yard blower to the air intake while on dyno and got great results! Sounds like a decent idea, but you won't catch me standing under a car running 150+mph on a dyno, let alone all the funny stares/ comments you'll get. Lol. Someone here needs to do that and post results.

Funny you should ask. I haven't seen one, even though there are tons of good ones for diesel trucks, GM cars and even general off-road 4x4 stuff. I was just cruising the magazine rack the other day and wishing somebody would start publishing a magazine sort of like "GM High-Tech Performance" but specifically about pickups and SUVs. You got any spare time?

I got bupkis! I was just hoping you had enough spare time to start publishing a magazine for me to read about GM high-performance pickups. You know, how-to articles, comparison tests, lots of track tests, etc. I'm sure your War Department would love me for giving you the idea ....

If the subscription $ paid me for adding parts to my truck, i think i could make time to start publishing. 1st thing would be 1320 test on adding stall and 390's. Then i could do handheld tuner vs. private tuner. Tire comparisons. Benefits of catch can, CAI comparisons header comparison, which gm wheels weigh less, lsxr intake dyno test, how to skip past the warranty police................

I'd let obama deal with my war dept lol.
