I went cheap when I did mine but LOVE it. Just cut out oem muff n replaced it w slp loudmouth 2. Great rumble n should get even better w headers n ory
Was a deal 100 bucks is all

 

Mine is an 3in muffler and pipe. I have a video also in the cab at highway speeds. Its very quiet when cruising.

same truck as yours but a crew cab i have flowmaster 50 seriest truck n suv dumped. a bit louder than stock but not excessively loud until u get on it. i can hold a normal convo at 70mph. i love it. and ppl think your stock until u floor it

 

Its 2 3/4" inch.. you can do the 2 3/4 pipe flaired to fit 3" pipe.. then go straight into the muffler and dump with a 3" stainless piece.. Keep it stainless you will thank yourself later..

 

I had the shop install a 18" magnaflow today. I like it. Not loud at all when cruising. It sounds nice and deep when you step on it.
