biggest thing i can stress is do not limit yourself from the word go

Two giant thumbs down on the 2.5" collectors on any 6.2 liter.

I agree that you don't want to limit yourself now if you're ever likely to want to go with cam, converter, etc for max high rpm power.

I also agree that long tubes with smaller collectors than you have stock might be kinda dumb.

If you're sure you're NOT ever going to go for max high rpm power, consider this - Whipple tech support said the following regarding adding headers to a Whipple supercharged 6.2 truck: "You will not get the gains you think you would by adding long tubes. If the motor was built and you were going to run high HP, then you would look into doing the LT's. I would just add a cat back for sound only. Gains will not be that much."
