Do any of ya'll run msd coils or wires on pretty much stock trucks....meaning those with just programmers, CAI, and headers? Have they helped you're mpg any? hurt? or waste of money at that point until you have a supercharger or some serious heads and a cam.

 

A waste of money, IMO.

 

Yep, the stock set up is just fine. Stock coils, wires have been on vehicles making 1000hp.. So don't waste your money

coils are a waste of 800 bucks imo

 

unlike the 60e trans, which is not built strong enough for these motors, GM got the ignition system spot on. Leave it be
