So did the mileage actually get worse or did your "distance till empty" just jump around?

Sounds like his Distance to Empty changed...

How about running a whole tank thru it and see what it comes out to be.

Tank of bad fuel. We are getting to that time of year where the transition from winter blend to summer blend fuel is starting to come out and it always causes tons of headaches this time of year and in the fall from people bitchin about poor gas mileage. The full transition is usually done by april to may depending on what part of the country you are in Or you just flat got a bad tank of gas it happens.

Driving two miles is not enough engine run time for the computer to know anything, especially just after a fill-up. Give it a whole tank, or maybe a couple or three tanks, before you get worried.

I also noticed that whenever i put down my power windows or i turn the wheel all the way till it hits the idle drops from 700rpm to around 500rpm and it wont go back up till the electrical strain is gone.

how bad was this small fender bender?

the idle drop when turning full lock is normal cause of the strain on the serpentine system

Some chick tried to take a right turn all the way from the left lane..jumps in front of me. I stomp on the brakes and tapped her right door..she then decided to try and drive foward. So she wrecked the whole right side of her 08 cobalt. She dented my fender and ripped off my bumper off. Her insurance replaced the whole front end. me being a dick! Took my truck to the most expensive shop in town and got all dealer parts. They even replaced both my rotors and pads. Replaced all the suspension components on the driver side. DRIVE LIKE A DUMMY AND IT WILL COST ALOT!

Well done! You didn't get anything you didn't deserve, and I hope she paid for your rental while your truck was in the shop.
