If you were in Houston I would install the coils for you.

I like the ground force spindles, the have brake cooling fins and come powdercoated. I also like the GF coils, but I run a MCG flip kit, I like it better than belltech or DJM.

Dont get MCG shocks...they are junk.

If I were you I would get the GF 3/5 kit...check www.autoanything.com, they have free shipping all the time.

I hear great things of all three companies and I too am unsure what kit to get with my 08 Crew Cab GMC. I have 24" Giovanna wheels with 305/35/24's and am unsure what height i can drop it to. I hear i can do a 4/6 and then i hear i can only do a 3/5.

But still unsure about the brand. I had the 2/3 McGaughy's on my titan with no problems, but thats just leafs and springs

McGaughy's advertise as factory dimensions just the wheel hub location point is higher (lowering the truck). I havent seen anywhere that regardless you have to trim the ball joint threads.

Just goes to show how much truth there is in advertising

Heres a complete install with pics, clearly showing the lower balljoint stud being cut.

That award was 10 years ago

Ground force spindles are patented as well

It was less than 6 and not a whole lot has changed since then. Belltech's new style spindles have been out about that long as well.

whatever it was 2003

All I can tell you is that from installing all 3 on the NNBS GMT900 trucks, the MCG is the last brand I would choose. The holes for the balljoints dont seem to be machined correctly as they prevent the bj from seating all the way like the stock spindles do. You also have to cut the dust brake shield which neither belltech nor ground force require. Plus they are uncoated and rusty out of the box, where the belltech and ground force are powder coated. I just see much better quality in the NON-MCG spindles for the NNBS.

I'm wanting a nice level look, no rake. The Ground Force was what I wanted originally but it's more than I wanted to spend. Keep the replies coming, this is coming along nicely.

I'd say either ground force or mcgaughy's. Either way its a drop spindle. I'm thinking about going with control arms myself.

I went with the McGaughys 2/4 on my 2008 reg cab that used front spindles and rear leafs/shackles. Rides real good and as for the spindles other than the slight trimming of the dust shield everything fit well. The spindles I got weren't rusted at all so I just used some cleaner to remove any manufacturing oils, masked off the machined contact areas, and shot some black paint to it. They looked perrrty.
