Default Mcgaughy rear spring install- no instructions!

Anyone use the McGaughy rear springs for a 2007 Silverado? I ordered from Summit Racing and didn't recieve any instructions - my question is which way is the front of springs. The arches appear to be different from one end to the other.

Take a tape measure, and measure your stock spring length from the front bolt, to the axle locating pin. Then measure your lowering spring, and it needs to be the same length. Otherwise your axle won't be centered in the wheel opening.

If I put the springs on a level surface, the measurement from floor to center of the bolt hole is 10" on one end and 8.25" on the other.

It's hard to see in pictures that I took but the arch is different on one side of the spring vs the other

The front spring eye bushing/bolt hole is likely larger than the rear.

It's been one of the those days - wasn't thinking of that.

I also spoke with Tim over at Tim's Online Suspension - he was a great help even though I didn't buy the parts from him. He referred me to a guy at McGaughy's and said they would take car of it - there was a problem with some of the recent springs as the arch should be the same front and back like on stock springs.

I keep trying to post pictures but no luck

Lol I figured mine out by trial and error ... The bolt for the front will only fit in one of the holes
