Picked up a LY6 with approx. 50k on it this weekend.
PO had already installed rollmaster timing set with new LS9 cam and lifters, LS9 head gaskets, and a new stock oil pump.
No AFM or VVT.
Also came with an escalade intake, is this an upgrade over my L76 Intake?

no should be the same intake. honestly the ls9 cam is prob a downgrade over the stock ly6 cam with vvt.

REALLY? My L76 cam is probably ok, and I could conceivably swap the VVT stuff into the LY6, but I figured the LS9 cam would be an upgrade.
Any other opinions? Will not go back to AFM.
I would like to try a Mast VVT setup, they really sound sweet, but I can buy a lot of gas with the cost difference.
