Mine was built in Mexico. >:-/ but at least it's a country that borders us hopefully that money will make it back into our economy. In a way I hope that by building trucks in another country will reduce the power of the uaw and make them bend easier. Maybe it will be the first step in a long painful process for auto manufacturers to regain some control over labor costs. I don't understand how all the legalities or the pros of Toyota building their trucks here. I guess it cuts down on shipping costs as vehicles take up more space vs tightly packaged parts? I don't know. Just because Toyota is being built here and employing our workers it helps stimulate our economy in the long run the profit goes overseas to help stimulate and make another countries economy stronger than ours. I would rather keep people in Mexico employed Right next door than employ and illegal immigrant here and give free health care and aid to because they managed to find a way to work the system. I'm not a fan of leaches on society. I am surprised that this issue hasn't already been resolved. I'm getting on a rant here so I'll stop but I can't wait for my headers to arrive! At least those are made in America!

i have the pacesetters and have no issues with them whatsoever. with a 6.2 however, i might look for some 1 7/8 primaries for the extra cubes. tsp has some decent prices on there headers, look over there.

A lot of people on here have pacesetters and they work fine. I'm not sure how much the y pipe is and if I'm not mistaken they don't come in stainless. I just wanted a stainless header for appearance reasons, I doubt I will have a bad rust issue with them where I live however I don't think that opening the hood on a 40k+ truck and revealing a nice set of rusty headers is considered nice to most people no matter if they get the job done or not. That and the arh headers come with 1 7/8" primaries so it's more of a match for my truck. I had talked to stainless works about their headers and they said they are working on the gm truck headers as far as making them bigger and the y pipe to fit into factory exhaust. I just didn't want to wait a few months to order when I may or may not have the money. Plus the price is comparable to the arh's and the power difference would probably be about the same between the two. This isnt NASCAR so I'm not too worried about that extra 1hp with everything I do to my truck. There isnt really a need to split hairs to get every last hp and tq. Out of my truck. Thats alao not to say arh wont make the most power for my truck either. That's just the way I see things. It's my daily I'm not racing competitively so they made sense for me. And they are made here so that's another plus for me.

Maybe I'll be taking off some components that are made in Mexico and replacing them with American made stuff. Then I can scrap the factory manifolds for a dollar and they can be sold to japan and be made into parts for a tundra and sent back here...lol.

I like the way you think! Send that scrap back! I just can't swallow the fact of $1500 headers. The price is crazy. I have never paid that much for headers. It will be a while before i can scrape up that much extra dough.
I'm not giving up any of my vacation $!!

I know what u mean about the price! I had a hard time justifying it myself. I try to buy stuff that's made in America everywhere i go and it's a lot harder than one might think. Try to buy something as simple as a shovel or a rake that's made in america. I figured tractor supply company would carry a lot of stuff made here but they don't. I was thinking about buying a compact 40 horse tractor the other day...I found out that in the small tractors nothing is made here and that u have to buy a reactor of at least 70-80 hp before you can find one made in America...this includes John deer, Massey ferguson, and international harvester. I was pissed. I'm forced to buy an effing tractor that's made in japan unless I want a huge tractor that is too big and expensive for what I need. Which made me wonder which one was the lesser evil. Who will I be forced to give my money to japan or china?

I completely agree, however, due to current circumstances regarding both countries, I say pick Japan.
