I found the Pacesetters for under $200.
Are these really that far inferior to the kooks for $1500?
I looked up the ARH but couldn't find them for my truck.

When it comes to headers you get what you pay for...

There is a company in Southern Indiana that makes and sells their headers for our trucks and they are stainless and made here and are between the kooks/ARH and the pacesetters in price.

Dynatech is their name look them up looks like 670 ish for a 6.2 supermaxx setup..

Anyone ever try the OBX headers? They are stainless and look to be well made pieces from the pics. They go for $495 on fleabay with LT's y-pipe and resonators it seemed like a good deal that will bolt right up to your stock mid pipe.Just curious if anyone runs them and what they think?

Skipperdaddy has the OBX's on his, and he has only had good things to say to me about them since day one.

This is generally true, but I have a set of $1495 ARH 1 7/8s that are beating themselves to death on my steering shaft as we speak. Don't get me wrong, the ARHs were generally a good fit and the workmanship is second to none, but since I installed the cam that it idles a bit choppy, one of the primary pipes, which is stupidly close to the steering shaft (for no apparent reason), bangs on the collapsible joint when idling in gear! Makes stop and go traffic even more fun! For that price, I would have expected a little more on the engineering side(and a coating would be nice too!). I'm glad to hear that there are other options out there on stainless headers, especially at a better price point.

I am surprised to hear your fit issue.
I had an 08 and my current truck with arh's and no issues.
If you look at it you may find it is the bolt that goes thru the joint that hitting the tubing.
If it is, it can be resolved with a shorter bolt or just make the current one shorter.
