Would I be better off buying a pre selected kit or trying to piece it together myself to save some money? There's a bracket kit on eBay for the trucks for $475 and you can get used blowers. But that still leaves all the odds and ends out. Without a list of all the part numbers it'd be really hard to get all the little things

Depends, I love the fitment of the Edlebrock e-force supercharger for the GMT-900 setup along with keeping the factory airbox for factory style replacements (Edlebrock uses "Green filters" similar to K&N oil style filter and say since they are only $40 to just throw them away instead of cleaning them, they can be found on Amazon, the Edelbrock rep also confirmed a GM paper filter will work but will limit air flow and volume), it comes complete and they offer a 3 year 36,000 mile "product warranty" on the charger system (this is separate from the power-train warranty which they offer 2 version's) so buying a LSA takeoff will not, you are the warranty if something fails.

Edelbrock, claims their superchargers are quieter than other brands (my limited understanding, but this is b/c the 2300/2.3L can be spun slower/less to achieve the same pressure). It comes with TVS 2300 rotors, which are the same as the LS9 rotors. I confirmed they do sale smaller 6 rib pulleys for the e-force chargers so you not limited to Edelbrock stock 6 lbs of boost due to CARB emissions. Looks to be a easy swap process for pulley & belt change along with a new custom tune, Edelbrock only supports their respected software tunes within parameter's of supercharger type per vehicle, however you will be limited to max boost due to belt slip since a small 6 rib belt is being used. This has not stopped some other guys, some guys are running 10lbs of boost with these blowers using a 6 rib belt.

I am leaning more towards the Edelbrock system, only due to the fact that I can do it over the weekend bolt it on and done, then later get a custom tune, folks on here say the CAN tune leaves some things to be desired.

It comes down to cost and your time, I don't have as much time as when I was younger. the LSA can be done for much less, I guess between $2,500 - $4,000 depending on the used condition and getting all the parts, you notice on most the ebay listings they don't include the lid, bolts, etc... btw those bolts are high dollar.

Edelbrock LINK

Just a couple of the ebay links. I'm not positive which one a 6.2 guy would need.

1. LSA supercharger truck accessory relocation kit 8 groove kit use fbody water pump

http://www.ebay.com/itm/LSA-supercharger-truck-accessory-relocation-kit-8-groove-kit-use-fbody-water-pum/252157034941?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D34225%26meid%3D8a95b4f0a30e4b6f938576be67d41f70%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D371480274248

2. LSA supercharger truck accessory relocation kit 6 groove kit use 07 up truck wp

LSA supercharger Truck Accessory Relocation Kit 6 Groove Kit Use 07 Up Truck WP | eBay

I think it would be number 2 for a 6 grove set up and number 1 for an 8 grove set up.

Has anyone assembled a parts list for the swap? Providing you have the brackets and the base blower already. Base as in no lid no fuel rails etc.

If I could just walk into my chevy dealer with a list of part numbers id have a blower on my truck before christmas

I am doing this on my 2007 Escalade. Getting parts together now. I would really like it to be done in the next couple months. We'll see how everything goes

I am curious if my stock NON Flex Fuel pump would support 6-7psi though.

Your going to need at "least" a flex fuel pump or better pump, to supply those LSA injectors.
