A Ls7 intake won't work with either of your heads. Only intakes that fit your cathedral port heads are ls1-2 intakes a fast cathedral 90-92-102 or the new cathedral port Holley high ram 92-102. For the v max if its a newer body style that uses l92 heads only ls3 type intakes will work which are rectangular port not square port and for you I would just stick to the stock truck intake. Nothing wrong with it and works well under boost I know mine did.

Yeah, been researching and it seems the ls3 intake really doesn't gain much compared to the $ and time spend working. Too bad about the ls7 though, it's $400 with all rails, throttle body, injectors and all wiring.
My front mount is coming and first off, gonna take the wrap off and ceramic coat it. Then powdercoat the intercooler red.

Max boost I can safely run on a stocker 6.0?
Anybody know where a 4wd to AWD thread is for a NNBS? I searched and searched, found alot of AWD to 4wd, but they don't get unto depth on the opposite.

for any head with the cathedral ports, you are looking at the ls1/6 intakes or the intakes off of 4.8/5.3/6.0 motors....if you are looking for other options, you have to go aftermarket such as fast/holly/edelbrock/bbs and I'm sure a few others that aren't custom made aluminum pieces.
for your truck, it looks like you are using the 799 casting which is the preproduction prototype 243 heads I believe which are the cathedral style heads. I could be wrong on that statement, but the style of intake you want to go after depends a lot on the performance, or use you have for your truck
