Sorry I dont have a GMT-900, but wanted to share i just de-cranked my torsion bar keys all the way in the front, and installed belltech 2'' lowering shackles and removed rear block on my Z71.

Rides great!! And is roughly a 2.5 front and 3.5-4'' drop rear.

Do it!!!!

The truck hooks up real nice in 4x4 on the street also, I had bad wheel hop before i lowered the truck.

On my 3/5 I used MCG 2 inch spindles and coil relocators set for 1"drop. In the back I used a MCG flip 3 inch lift shackles MCG shock extenders MCG rear shocks and 6 degree pinon angle shims.

I'd try to stay away from leafs if possible. decreases any towing capacity and have numerous complaints about ride quality.

Maybe I missed it but is this in a rscb, ecsb, ccsb?

This is with spindles and 2500 keys with a flip kit. Ive since added the 1" lift shackle for the rear and some more tweaking on the keys, It was too low for me at first.

Since it's 4wd it will have a torsion bar setup no coils. So just get some 2500 purple keys and switch them out. The 2500 keys are indexed about 1" lower than 1500 keys so theres approx 3" for the front. The back is dependent on if its a crew cab or not and then there's more choices if it's extended or regular cab compared to cc

I would also stay away from leafs if I were you. Do a flip kit or shackles and block removal.

My crew cab rides great with the flip kit.
