Default Lost second gear today

so what should I do? put my stock converter back in, take out the edge and take it in for warranty work. Or should I look for a 4l65e or a 4l70e from a local salvage yard. Or should I get it rebuilt local.

i say do a 4l80e.

i hope your dealership aint ******** like mine was. they find ways to void stuff... techs must not like getting paid for sure... rather take a chance of the customer paying or not.. then make the same money

Just make sure all the wirning is in correct locations and clips. I don't know how close they'll pay attention.. If you have any rounded bolts stick some new ones in.

I'm sure they will try to bullshit you in some way. Just keep pushing for it and if they try to make you pay, go get it rebuilt or a better trans.
