Beatiful site. They arent too bad to put on, the worst part to me was getting the old y pipe off the stock manifolds. I busted three nuts breaking those loose. Start soaking all the bolts good with something like PB Blaster a day or two before actually installing them.

somebody told me that headers are no good that to much back pressure.......??? and well mess the performance on my truck?

Im really thinking on getting some before and after dyno #s to see the gains, wich at that point it will be tuned. Thanks for the info fellas... Ill keep you guys posted.

after I doused mine collector bolts with the pb blaster on my old set and let them sit for 6+ hours. It look me a little bit of help with pry bar but I finally got them off. I really struggled with the manifold removal. about gave up on it and said to heck with it

Heres a hint for you, start with the hardest bolts to get to on the manifold first, that way you get them out of the way while your still fresh.

They will help performance, not hurt it. I see your from Mckinney, I have a lady friend thats a cop there.

yeah vortec-dude post those dyno numbers cuz i am real curious to see if it is a 20 rwhp gain!! like they say it is. i am looking for a set of headers and the pacesetters are the cheapest but i wonder if they really deliver what the hp gain that the dynatechs do.
